Tattoo Freeze Convention 2025

I am incredibly proud to have been accepted to work the Tattoo freeze, previously Skin Deep, Tattoo Convention, Telford. Skin Deep was one of the biggest names in tattoo magazines, and is a deep part of modern UK tattoo culture, and I look forward to working at and celebrating their 15th convention.

Defying Norms, Setting Standards Exhibition

Dec. ‘24- Mar. ‘25; Graphische Sammlung ETH, Zurich, Switzerland

The Graphische Sammlung ETH, the incredibly esteemed curatorory gallery extension of the ETH University, Zurich, selected some of the pieces from the Dürer: Under Your Skin exhibition for re-exhibition.

The Graphische Sammlung ETH houses over 150,000 prints from the 15th century to the present day, including over 4000 original Dürer pieces, so for my work to be exhibited here is beyond an honour.

‘I Ink Therefore I Am’ Interview

It was also my great pleasure to talk about my work, and about my experiences in the tattoo industry as a woman, in the August 2024 edition of the Bailiwick Express Magazine, Connect.

Dürer: Under your Skin Exhibition

I am honoured to have had my work be selected to be included in the Durer: Under Your Skin Exhibition in the Albrecht Durer House in Nuremberg from April- October 2024. The collection celebrates the continued impact of Albrecht Durer’s exceptional works, and explores their evolving effects as they take on a new form in tattoos, situated in Durer’s very own home-turned-museum. The article on the museum website is only available in German, but some devices may have automatic translation options.

Jersey Tattoo Convention

September 2025; The Grand Hotel, Jersey, C.I.

It was a pleasure to have been a part of Jersey’s very first tattoo convention at the Grand Hotel.

Opening 42 Tattoo Studio

My colleague, Naomi, and I opened 42 Tattoo Studio in Jersey, a space founded on inclusivity and community, whilst still focusing on creating high quality tattoos.

Neither of us saw co-owning a studio in our futures, least of all so relatively early in our careers, but the tattoo industry is a turbulent one and sometimes you can’t know where you’ll end up. We are immensely grateful for the unique learning experience, fresh perspectives, and opportunities which owning a studio provides. Since opening, we have had the pleasure of welcoming international guest artists, hosting community art evenings, and bringing on board local ceramicist and qualified nail artist Lindsay Rutter to offer BIAB manicures.

Raffles in aid of Jersey Action Against Rape, and Jersey Women’s Refuge

April 2022 and December 2021 respectively

I believe there is a fairly unique opportunity in tattooing as opposed to most other careers, which positions us very well to give back to our communities. In honour of Sexual Assault Awareness Month 2022, and around Christmas 2021- a particularly hard time for people in precarious living situations, and the charities which support them- I organised raffles to fundraise. I am overjoyed to say these were a great success for the reach I had at the time, and we raised £480 for JAAR, and £375 for JWR.

I would have very much liked to have continued these raffles. Unfortunately, shortly after these fundraisers (unrelated to my work, I should add) the Jersey Gambling Commission changed the laws on gambling to include raffles, and made licenses almost impossible for individuals to obtain. I appealed and combed through the bylaws on their website, but as yet have found no solution. I have continued to donate my vouchers as prizes for licensed raffles in aid of JAAR and Jersey Hospice Care.
